Our Casement Window Range
While almost every double-glazing company offers casement windows, very few actually make them. At Hillingdon Windows and Doors, we believe that the best way to ensure quality is to build it ourselves.
Casements are the UK’s most popular window style for a reason: they are versatile, secure, and open outwards to catch the breeze. While we expertly fit high-end Aluminium casements, our passion lies in the uPVC frames we manufacture right here in our factory.
Our Types of Casements
System 10: The Modern Classic (Chamfered)
System 10 is our signature chamfered profile, defined by its clean, angular lines. It offers a crisp, contemporary aesthetic that looks particularly striking on modern builds or when finished in Anthracite Grey. These are best for homeowners seeking a sleek, minimalist look for windows and doors.
Rustique: Traditional Elegance (Sculptured)
For those who prefer a softer, more decorative finish, our Rustique system is “fully sculptured.” Unlike the angular System 10, Rustique features curved edges that mimic the look of traditional handcrafted joinery. These are best for traditional homes, often paired with heritage colours like Agate Grey or Chartwell Green.
Flush Sash: The Heritage Specialist
The Flush Sash (or Flush Casement) is designed so the opening window sits perfectly level with the frame. This eliminates the “overlap” look of standard uPVC windows, creating a flat, seamless external face that looks just like timber. We can manufacture these as fully welded units or with specialised timber-look joints for maximum authenticity. These are best for conservation areas, heritage cottages, or high-end modern designs requiring a “Grand Designs” finish.
Lipped Casement: The Heavy-Duty Seal
The Lipped Casement is a robust addition to our Prestige Collection. Unlike the flush version, the sash on a lipped window slightly overlaps the frame. This creates a “lip” that provides an incredibly strong weather seal against the elements. These are designed for maximum durability and protection against the British weather. These are best for properties in exposed locations or homeowners prioritising a heavy-duty, secure feel.
